Anugerah Seri Cemerlang

27 Julai 2012, bertempat di Dewan Merak Kayangan, Balai Felda, Kuala Lumpur, PERKIM Sekretariat UIAM Gombak, akhirnya menggondol satu anugerah  di Majlis Berbuka Puasa dan Penyampaian Anugerah Sri Cemerlang. Anugerah ini merupakan satu bentuk penghargaan kepada kelab Perkim Universiti di seluruh Malaysia. Menariknya, kelab Perkim UIAM Gombak yang baru setahun beroperasi di UIAM berjaya menjulang anugerah Projek Terbaik 2012.

Pada malam yang sungguh bahagia itu, yang Dipertua PERKIM, iaitu Y. A. Bhg. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad berjaya menghadirkan dirinya selaku perasmi majlis. Beliau juga diberi mandat selaku penyampai anugerah berkenaan di samping menyampaikan pesanan dan amanat kepada semua ahli PERKIM Universiti yang hadir. Kata-kata Semangat dan motivasi yang diberikan berjaya menyemarakkan lagi usaha para da’ie daripada PERKIM dalam mengembangkan syiar islam.

Majlis bermula dari pukul 6.30 petang lagi di mana kehadiran seramai kira-kira 1000 orang yang terdiri daripada ahli PERKIM universiti dan barisan kakitangan PERKIM. Manakala UIAM Gombak menghantar 18 orang ahli mereka ke sana. Puan Martinelli Hashim, selaku Ketua Pusat Tanggungjawab Sosial Universiti (CENSERVE) hadir selaku wakil pegawai Universiti dan juga penasihat kepada Kelab PERKIM ini.

Kelab PERKIM UIAM Gombak berjaya membawa pulang wang sebanyak RM2,500 beserta trofi Projek Terbaik. Presidennya, iaitu saudara Ismat Arif Abu Hassan dengan bangganya menjulang trofi berkenaan di hadapan Tun Dr. Mahathir.

“Syukur Alhamdulillah, kami sendiri tidak menyangka bahawa kami, Kelab PERKIM UIAM Gombak berjaya mendapat anugerah seumpama ini. Kami baru setahun bersama UIAM dan CENSERVE, namun berkat kerjasama semua terutama daripada CENSERVE, kami mampu untuk melakukan sesuatu,” jelas Ismat dengan bangganya kepada penulis.

Menurutnya lagi, dengan anugerah ini Kelab PERKIM UIAM Gombak akan pasti lebih bermotivasi dalam menyampaikan dakwah Islamiyah kepada semua kumpulan sasaran mereka iaitu Orang Asli, golongan Muallaf dan golongan yang tidak berupaya.

Manakala anugerah-anuerah lain seperti Kelab PERKIM Harapan jatuh kepada UNIKL Melaka, anugerah Kepimpinan Terbaik milik Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), anugerah Kelab PERKIM Terbaik pula diungguli oleh KUIS dengan masing-masing membawa pulang wang sebanyak RM2,500 beserta trofi, kecuali KUIS yang membawa pulang wang sebanyak RM3,000 beserta trofi. Dengan pengiktirafan ini, maka ia sedikit sebanyak pasti menyemarakkan lagi semangat anak-anak muda dalam menyampaikan rsialah Islam kepada seluruh umat di tanah air.

Celebrity Talk : Being a Better Me

        

Tuesday:  24 APRIL 2012, PERKIM Secretariat had organized “CELEBRITY TALK : BEING A BETTER ME”  in collaboration with KELAB RAKAN SISWA ISLAH MALAYSIA (KARISMA), MAHALLAH SUMAYYAH, MAHALLAH BILLAL and RAUDHATUS SAKINAH at Experimental Hall. Registration started at 8.00pm as soon as the audiences came. There is no problem occurs during registration, but the number of audiences that registered is more than 600. So it is out of our expectation. Therefore, the seats in the hall were not enough for all the audiences and some of them had to sit on the floor and on the both sides of the stage. While waiting for the talk to begin, the audiences were entertained by videos related to the topic of celebrity talk.

The program started at 9.00pm with opening remarks by emcee and Quran recitation. Then, Pyan (DJ IKIM.FMas the moderator of forum took place and the celebrity talk begin. First speaker was Waheeda  (Actress/ singer), second speaker was Ummi Roses (Director of Raudhatus Sakinah) and third speaker was Sham Kamikaze  (Guitaris).

The forum was divided into 3 rounds. The first round was about the speakers’ latest progress in their career. The second one was about turning point of their change into better person. And the third round was about something they can get from the turning point of the changing to better person. At the end of our program, Sham Kamikaze was entertained the audiences with his guitar performance.

Training of Da'ie

Saturday : 14 April 2012 PERKIM Secretariat in collaboration with PERKIM Ampang and PERKIM Selangor was organizing “Training of Da’i : Methodology of Da’wah” in order to take the proper da`wah training and do this work in a methodical way on behalf of all other members of the community.  This program was handled by line up committee of PERKIM at Main Auditorium, and it was participated by IIUM students.

This program was started with registration of students and breakfast at 8 am. Then, Slot 1 started at 9.05 am. This slot, entitled “FAQs on Religions”, is presented by Bro. Lim Jooi Soon. During this slot, Bro. Lim was giving an idea how to explain and answer the entire trick question from non-Muslim. For example, if non-Muslim asks “Why Allah created pig if Muslim cannot eat it?” and the answer is “Not all things in this world is created to be eaten”. Allah also created stone, but stone is created not as food.” The feedback from the audience is positive because they asked a lot of questions during this slot.

 The next slot is divided into two sessions. First session is presented by Bro. Firdaus Wong Wai Hung for the topic “Chinese Beliefs”. Bro Firdaus tells about the Chinese terms of worship, food and culture. Next, the second session continues with the title "Christian History" presented by Bro Mohd Amin Yaacob. This slot is about the origin of the Christians. 

During Slot 2 session 1, Bro. Firdaus is talking about Chinese beliefs.

During Bible session, Bro. Lim is giving the input about the weaknesses of that book.

Finally, slot 3 is presented by Bro Lim Soon Jooi. This slot is the most attractive slot because in this slot, participants are given the opportunity to hold, studying and reading the Bible. In this slot, brother Lim Soon Jooi distinguishes between the contents of the Bible with the Quran. This program finished by 5 pm.

Yaumul Ukhuwah

11 March 2012: PERKIM Secretariat had organized “yaumulukhuwwah” program at HS Square, IIUM Gombak campus. This program was the first activity that gathers the members of this club in almost one day started from 9.00 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. Although there were only 30 participants and not all members of the club were joining, the program still running smoothly and also achieving the target.

            Hence, this program also was held in order to introduce PERKIM Secretariat and its mainboards of this tenure to all the participants involved. In such a way it also made each of the members know each other better and strengthen the bond between all of them. During this program, we explained the jobs scope of each bureau and also the almanac of the club. Besides that, participants had a chance and opportunity to give their comment throughout the modules and any suggestion. Furthermore, they also give idea and support to join our next program.

All of the participants were very cooperative and participative in all the activities that we’ve held. Praised to Allah give us opportunity to gather and share something news among each other. This program launch successfully as follow what had been planned.

Induction Perkim Secretariat IIUM Gombak

Assalamualaikum buat seluruh umat islam..

Buat pertama kali PERKIM SEKRETARIAT UIAM GOMBAK mengadakan Induction bersama semua peringkat pengurusan bagi menyelaraskan program bagi tahun ini. Beberapa perkara telah dibincang untuk menyusun penjalanan program tahun ini. Harapan daripada induction ini, pengurusan dapat menyusun segala penjalanan sekretariat.
